The CBS offers the reference management software "Citavi". This is a program that you can download and install on your private computer.

Citavi offers you the opportunity to bring structure to the various sources you need for your Bachelor's or Master's thesis. Of course, you can also use the program for a term paper, etc.

With Citavi you can categorize your literature. The program can connect to Word, for example, so that you can easily integrate your references into your work. Both footnotes and the bibliography can be designed more easily. You can also select a citation style (e.g. APA), which can then be used throughout your Word file. Citavi also offers you the option of downloading the bibliographic data of a title from any library catalog and importing it into Citavi. This saves you time because you don't have to enter data manually. Also very practical: You can save sources that you have as PDF files in Citavi and edit them there.
